Wildflower Earrings.
 
I love flowers. Do you love those ephemeral little natural wonders too?
Many years ago, I was a florist. Not the stuffy funeral arrangement kind of florist though; our shop was an open air shop, and we made boisteous, wild bouquets. And we sold them about as fast as we could make them. 
It was a love affair of color, texture and scent. 
 
Recently I decided to recreate some of my past life with flowers in silver, and these Wildflowers are one in the series. 
Blooms, stems and leaves are individually formed and textured, then constructed into the little finished forms. No two pairs are exactly alike. 
A pair of asymmetrical American-mined turquoise graces this pair.
